Are Hatton stewart ticket sales rubbish???
Are Hatton stewart ticket sales rubbish???
I dont know many people who are going compared to the normal "boxing fan" interest, could the gravy train finally be grinding to a halt?

Despite the deflating main event and Barnes-Hare falling through, it's still a decent enough bill. Stephen Foster Junior defends his English featherweight title against former British champion Gary Thornhill; Chris Saunders defends his English welterweight title against hot prospect Michael Jennings, Michael Gomez fights a tough, albeit unknown, Russian, and so on.Wales wrote:I dont know many people who are going compared to the normal "boxing fan" interest, could the gravy train finally be grinding to a halt?

hatton faces another mitchell victim ina fight that hardly catches the imagniationDespite the deflating main event and Barnes-Hare falling through, it's still a decent enough bill. hare barnes has been moved to headline
Gomez is fighting nothing mre than an easter european stiff who'll be blown away, hopefult gomez wil back up his mouth and look for a big fight
The rest of the undercard is nothing more than decent fillers, the fact remains this card or a comparable one wouldnt sell 5hit anywhere but the MEN...
Birith boxing is going down hill long ago. with mickey house belts around this stops the board from demanding fights like Hatton - Witter Enzo - Hobson etc. With the new Friday night mismatch it gets boring watching non competitive fights. Promoters just dont want to risk most of their fighters and see them taking a easy pay day rather than test. Most of the good fights arent even on tv. Sky need to demand real fights and stop showing mismatches.
I agree, idiots like Maloney and Warren big up all these foreign fighters no one has ever heard of, then they get flattened in a round by the British fighter. I'm sick of it, I'd rather watch paint dry than watch Friday night boxing on sky. When was the last time you saw a fight on Sky involving one of the British cash cows that was actually competitive? I've said it before, I'll say it again, out of all the British fighters who have their arses licked on Sky, only Scott Harrison will truly 'fight anyone'. Harrison vs Chi would be a great fight.

I feel sorry for Ricky Hatton, I respect him as a fighter and I feel he wants to be in great fights, it must hurt him as well!
The main British fighters are in a low period, but "Us" the fans cannot lose faith in them as we have a lot to do in what keeps them going, let the fans turn out and see Ricky, hes exciting to watch. Us along with hope and the funny world of boxing can keep him on track for the style of fights he should be in, Its not Ricky, its Boxing in general and Vivian harris can run to Germany with his WBA belt for it will do him no good!
Ricky Hatton is a world class fighter and in time I hope he can be in fights he should be in. Keep the faith, its not Ricky its the powers beyond!
We follow such a funny sport but still we're hooked or we would not care or be on here. Keep the faith, our sport needs "Us".
