Pretty obscure this one: I've come across a photo in my box of the 7ft 4in Romanian heavyweight of the 1930s, Gogea Mitu. He's boxing an Italian named Sanga, presumably Giuseppe Sanga, at the Palais Des Sports, Paris. It's a Topical Press photo with a London stamp on it, and luckily the caption is still intact on the back. Unfortunately, although it dates the photo as 11/12/35 (presumably December 11th, 1935) it does not give the result of the fight. Caption says - "Photo shows - An incident during the fight between the Roumanian fighter Mitu (right) and the Italian Sanga, held at the Palais Des Sports, Paris.
This fight is not on the boxrec records for either man. Obviously, it happened, but that's about all we can say.

Re: 7ft-4in-Gogea-Mitu
I added a couple of bouts for him -- I guess this can be added as a "result unknown" -- we really need access to Paris newspapers of the era to check on stuff like this!
Re: 7ft-4in-Gogea-Mitu
The Sanga bout appears to have been an exhibition, held on undercard of Loughran-Lenget on Dec 9, 1935.
