You may think what you like about Maloney but the union jack suit made him world famous and was a great marketing tool to promote Lewis as being British when everyone was claiming he was Canadian, but he has lived the life that mere mortals who post on here can only dream of and he is still in the business.

FTM Sports released Scott Belshaw after he beat Peret due to the fact that he was homesick and could not take the strict training regime a fighter has to undergo to reach the top and if he was still under our contract he would not have gone in against Fury in that condition and without first class sparring.

Lets hope Fury does not become a heavyweight version of David Walker a talented fighter moved too fast trying to secure a TV contract.

Fury has a point.

I remember Maloney being interviewed after Tyson destroyed Julius Francis, "Julius Francis showed how Lennox Lewis will destroy Mike Tyson".

After Lennox Lewis fired Maloney; "I believe Mike Tyson will KO Lennox Lewis".

You obviously never the Sky Production of this fight Maloney did say in the build up that he hoped Tyson would KO Lewis but that was said due to the fall out, but actually on the night, on Sky Maloney came out and said 'taking out all the rubbish and bad feeling that has gone on between himself and the Lewis Team namely (Adrian Ogun) Maloney predicted Lewis looks the sharper more positive and I would not be surprised to see him stop Tyson.

This can be backed up by the Sky recording. I am sure lots of other managers and promoters have said negative things after things have gone sour, it is much like a marriage break up your mouth goes into geare before your brain.

Well, I have the recording and it says the opposite.

McDermott is a joke of a heavyweight, and he shouldn't be praised for going 24 rounds with Williams. For me, Williams is as washed up as it comes. If Fury doesn't get rid of the human doughnut within six rounds then I will be surprised.

I must admit when i first came into the game i heard some real horror stories about frank maloney and the first few times i took lads to his shows i was a bit wary.But i gotta say money is very fair,matches are usualy good and been treated very well by his team(mainley james and jimmy) also i usualy hang around after our guys have fought and watch the show.At the moment i think hes doing a better job for the public than anyone else.
If he matches his guys so they cant lose hes a clown if he matches his guys in good scraps and loses a few wins a few hes a clown?? I think theres no pleasing some people.

Do you no Frank Maloney????????You should promote the circus(which you are been really disrepectfull)We could do with a few more promoters like Maloney.........he has done more in the last year for boxing in the north east (Sunderland )then any other promoter has done in the last 20 years...... so how should the man promote a circus.
