Who do you keep them away from, in respect to other legends of their weightclass?

Not much time, so I'll just add one, & colour others in later. I'd keep Foreman away from Tunney. Not much respect if he does win from people stating the latter was just too small, but Tunney was as determined, & almost as out-&-out tough, as he was an intelligent boxer & ring general. He could make Foreman look bad in winning, &, possibly, even swing the upset. He's one fighter I'd keep Foreman away from. Joe Walcott is another, for much the same reasons. Have to think Foreman'd beat both, but too little reward for too much risk, IMO.

If I had Holmes...i would train him, get him to stay in supreme shape.
And take on anyone !!!

Provided we got paid well...and we had adequate warm ups for some
of the greater guys.

good money for it, as it would be a fight the fans wanted and would

mates and work together in the gym.

Upon winning the title Holmes is to meet
Willard, Dempsey and Burns....those three have been scheduled and
signed as challengers.
We do however have good money and negotiations on a Charles fight
as well as a show down with Corbett. So many contenders out there,
we are sifting through what ones we can face at a given time. Though
the champ and I are eager to see him stay active with 3-4 defences a
year.

We have given a guranteed shot to the winner of the Foreman-Marciano
bout, should we get past Willard.

Incidentally, Holmes is another my head tells me to keep Foreman away from. I think it's a near pick 'em fight, so I should steer clear, but the thought of Foreman laying out Holmes is just too tempting, & I think I'd throw my boy in there. Holmes'd never handle the early heat when his jab failed to keep Foreman off, I'd convince myself. Maybe. Maybe not.

I'd keep Gene Tunney about 8 time zones and 3 continents AWAY from George Foreman.

I would prefer my fighter (Tunney) retire with his head still attached.

Too many people would expect Foreman to walk over Tunney. I'm not convinced (not to say it wouldn't happen, mind) that's the foregone outcome. If Foreman won convincingly, it'd be all, "Tunney was too small, didn't have the punch to keep Foreman off him, etc," but if Foreman lost or were to be made to look bad in winning (not, to my eyes, inconceivable, as I rate Tunney extremely highly) it'd be Foreman who came out embarrassed.

I'd still favour Foreman to succeed, to clarify --- just stating the risk-reward ratio is too severe.

Rocky Marciano keep him away from Ali, Lewis and Klitschko I think these 3 can outbox him for the 12/15 round duration there reach and boxing skills would be the key I dont see anyone stopping the Rock but on decisions

Not really. They all pose unique threats. It is a case of the right preparation and
timing. The champ needs to be in the best shape and the right shape for each
opponent. We have some good strategies and training partners to meet each threat
as they appear.

We have a lot on the horizon, but we can only take on what is in front
of us at each moment.

Foreman will get his fight, we are confident that the Champ will beat him.

Larry will never be happy, because my boy would never agree to an evenly-split purse George knows he is & always was the draw, & won't fight for less than 70%. Problem is, Larry wants the whole purse
