Was at Dennie's funeral yesterday. A really good turnout, which shows just how highly regarded Dennie was. John Conteh, Nigel Benn, Richie Woodhall, Duke McKenzie were just some of the faces there. allegedly & Mickey Duff also showed up. Nice tribute from Simon Block as well. It took place at St Peter's Church in Clerkenwell, the Italian church. Really beautiful and a great service too.

Dennie would've enjoyed it. He'll be sorely missed.

Great man. Great loss. In fact, too great a loss. The demise of true boxing men like Harry Mullan, Ernie Fossey, Johnny Bloomfield and Dennie, leave a void nobody can fill.
