Yeah. One of the most one-sided beatings ever.
Good call.
If you include thumbing as legitimate boxing.

I don't.

Correction:

"Duran did something special in thumbing Moore. "

The most criminal foul of all.

Fritizie Zivic is vilified for even being accused of thumbing.

But Duran is praised for actually thumbing his way to 'victory.'

That is SICK.

Clueless buz thinks Duran DIDN'T thumb Davey Moore?

(Remember buz, if Thomas Hauser didn't say it--it isn't true.)

He loves to parade his ignorance for all to see.

granny, protect yourself at all times.....he lost the fight....you need to move on. Duran wasn't beating up on you that day. And if he was I'm assured by your bestest friend Collins that you could have picked up the phone and had the outcome changed from L to W for yourself.

I know you have the utmost respect for me and my opinions. So take my lead and repeat this soul soothing mantra to yourself..... ....Moore lost that fight...fair and square, Moore lost that fight fair and square. As you continue to repeat this, You will feel the tension draining from your body and you will wake up refreshed and completely unaware that you ever read this.

You will then go forward and begin to value all the wonderful people here who always look forward to your many unique and colorfully boutique opinions.

Comments from the two stalwarts of boxrec

the homosexually fixated collins,
Poor collins is also fixated on his Paddy, whoever that is.
Is Paddy one of your many homosexual partners, collins?

and of course buz

buz' 'expertise' in the subject of "boxing" is ENTIRELY based on the following:

"If Thomas Hauser didn't say it, it isn't true."

Can't believe I'm about to say this, but Gran is right.

Duran's performance was appalling, & anyone who applauds it should be watching street brawls, not boxing.

Enough of this, "it's boxing, not checkers" horsesh!t, already. It's inane & facile.

So would he have lost had they used "thumbless gloves".? Not exactly excusing what you are outraged about, but just asking you to guesstimate how that might have changed things.

Not at all, I"m simply asking you a question on another subject. I granted your point by saying that I'm not quid pro quo excusing your accusation via the question I have posed to you. I knew you would assume that so I offered the disclaimer. I hope this is cleared now. Still curious as to your answer to the question on this different subject.

These don't really fit the criterea, as the prospects were neither under 10-0 or "ruined". But they were prospects who were set back a bit by veterans.

Howard Davis - Melderick Taylor
Mustafa Hamsho - Bobby Czyz
Eddie Machen - Jerry Quarry
Jerry Quarry - Ron Lyle
