From reading the article and interview with Cloud in Boxing Monthly its clear he's a very ambitious and determined fighter.

However the good news for Woods is Cloud seems to have the wrong impression about Woods and his fighting style. He seems to be under the impression that Woods is a comeforward fighter. But thats not the case, Woods is definitely at his best when an opponent comes to him and he can counterpunch.

Woods will find Cloud's style is suited to his. Its just whether or not Clinton still has it and whether he can hold his nerve fighting in the States.

Woods prefers to counter punch, but for me is at his best when he is the aggressor. He did look very good as a counter puncher against Gonzales (in fight 1) but for me, still his career best performances came in the Crawford Ashley and Ole Klemensten fights.

The question is how much does Woods have left to offer. Does his fire still burn? I don't think Cloud is anything special from the footage i've seen. He's tidy but basic and he's got a glaring weakness a guy like Woods should be able to exploit. Imo Clinton will either prove to be a class above, or a faded Woods could make Cloud appear better than he is.

Its last chance saloon time for Clinton. He choked against Tarver, though it appears his camp was cr*p for that one. I just hope win, lose or draw he redeems himself in this fight with a proper performance.

I've actually checked out some clips of Cloud and maybe I was taken aback by his performance against Gonzalez- (who was Taylor made for him) and so perhaps over-rated him a tad and was a bit hasty in making a prediction. But after watching some other fights (Herrera, Rodriguez, Wood - youtube) I actually make this a fifty-fifty fight - well maybe Cloud a slight favourite due to location. But Cloud much prefers when a guy comes to him and tends to paw with his jab. I don't think Cloud is as good as say, a Chad Dawson. Clinton has good boxing ability (see his last fight) and damn good whiskers. If he doesn't freeze like he did against Tarver, I give him a great chance to pull out a points win.

Cloud reminds me of a certain J. Lacy esquire: very heavy hands, but slow, clumsy & open.

Gonzalez must have hit him clean in the head about five hundred times & Gonzalez is basic as fornicate.

If Woods has much left (& here I should point out I never thought he had that much in the first place) then he should get by him, hopefully to face Jason DeLisle or Julio Gonzalez in much anticipated rematches.

If he hasn't, Cloud will follow him about for five rounds then splatter him with an ugly swing.

Woods is no Calzaghe though. I can believe all this "If Woods has anything left talk" He was never anything special even at his best.
