Who's the tool that decided to change the W/L/D format.

Post by Hounddawg »

Just scrolled through the schedules of Australian boxing and started to strain my eyes at the new win,loss and draw stats.

Example;
8 super middleweight Wade Foley 3/1-1/1-1 SC Ryan Coppick 3/0-4/2, I've been following boxing for a while and struggled to understand what the guys record is.

Is it a code? Is it an Equation, is it Algebra? it's fornicating confusing as hell. :witzend:

Can we please go back to the way it was, dummys like me could understand it, and i'd hate to think what others who casualy peruse the site think.

KISS!

If it ain't broken dont fix it !! You should run a pole. Please go back to the way it was, there does not appear any benefit the way it is at the moment.

Wade Foley 3/1-1/1-1 = 3 wins/1 KO - 1 loss/1KO - 1 draw

I can understand it AntonS, I'm just wondering why we have to really think hard and strain our lazy eyes. The otherway was good 22(21)- 1(0).

Whats still annoying about the stats is when a fighter is yet to lose a massive part of the stats are missing and just reads 12(10)....... no loss's (0) are factored. This also applies to a guy who is yet to win he automatically go's to the left hand ledger and could be mistaken for an underfeated fighter.

An example of Baffs records check it out. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer

If you didn't visit the site often you couldn't really tell the level of opposition Baffs faced because his weight is recorded 82kg and 6 appears afterwards. 6 what?

Please this is really fornicating annoying, change it completely back to the way it was :witzend:
