Solomon Haumono lost
Haumono losing to Whitehead by SD does this mean he still deserve a shot at the OPBF?

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
well well well thats what happins when u look abit to far ahead...... Justin Whitehead just out box him on the night big soloman did put up a good fight but just was not enough on the night .......i think he thought is was a spaing session for another big fight ..how wrong he was ........
Re: Solomon Haumono lost
Big Solo losing to a 38 year old who had only 3 fights before this is not a good look.
Good to see Sam Soliman back on the winning side.

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
he should of lost to Colin Wilson, Royce KO'd him (if he didnt do the foolish punches while he was down he would have won) and now he lost to a guy with 3 pro fights.
Solo is on a massive decline the only thing that he had going for him was his undefeated record which now longer exists.

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
Thank god and about time. Solo looked shyte against Couser...........Drew with Wilson............got KO'd by Sio now hes finally lost to a 3-0 Justin Whitehead.............its OVER!!!! Although theres a little money to be made by selling out.....
He should take a few US fights and earn some coin over there being a opponent if he wants to stay in boxing.........no point trying to fight bums to keep building the "record" now

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
Presumably this puts him out of the running for Rahman, then. So that leaves Meehan and Hoppa on the shortlist.

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
Just saw Hoppa and Meehan are fighting each other, so what does that leave Rahman? Please not Mirovic or Wilson...
Re: Solomon Haumono lost
yes it's confirmed I spoken to one of hoppa's family member saying he is fighting Meehan, I take my hat off to hoppa he'[s not afraid this kid who continues to impress me at least he's stepping it up win or lose
Re: Solomon Haumono lost
i think it's good for Kali to remain active. He will give Hoppa a lesson, but Hoppa may learn from it. Good luck to him, and it's good to see the HW's being active and generally fighting one another.

Re: Solomon Haumono lost
sols last 4 fights (couser, wilson, sio and whitehead) have all been pretty dismal for haumono. if your just a guy supplementing your income by having a bout every now and then it would be fine, but people were talking this guy up like he was gonna win a world title 2 years ago, and that obviously aint gonna happen. he has a suspect heart and a suspect chin. being gifted with good genetics just doesnt cut it at a higher level.
lets put him in against ben edwards and be done with it.

Will it be for the Aus Title? How many times has Meehan held that?toppity wrote:i think it's good for Kali to remain active. He will give Hoppa a lesson, but Hoppa may learn from it. Good luck to him, and it's good to see the HW's being active and generally fighting one another.
