From the footage above, its clear that during the short interview with Jim Brady, it finally dawned on Mcneeley who was coming for him once he got in the ring! You have to give Peter credit for going after Tyson, but what else could he have done? There was no way he was going to outbox Tyson or anything like that!

Tyson may not have been the fighter he once was, but he still did what was expected of him when he fought a guy who was nowhere near his calibre - he got him out of there quickly! That right uppercut send McNeeley into space, his eyes are fcuked upon him rising from the canvas! He would have got hurt badly had he continued after the second KD!

Jim Watt talked about this after Tyson-Etienne; that guys who knew, despite their pre-fight talk, that they had no chance, would meet Tyson straight-on at the opening bell. People would later say "why the hell did you try to slug it out with Tyson"? The point is, they themselves knew they would lose, and to go toe-to-toe with him would have two advantages: 1) get it over and done with quickly, and 2) leave fans saying "at least he gave it a try". Watt said they didn't really give it a try, it was more like the boxing equivalent of suicide i.e. the easy way out. Think about it - nobody criticises McNeeley, Francis, Etienne, etc, but they do Bonecrusher Smith (survical tactics) and Golota (quit).
