boxers trained/seconded by their mother

I'm writing an article on women's boxing, and am trying to track down information on the following.

There were two famous boxing brothers, it might have been the levinsky's, but I'm not sure, or it could have been the striblings, who were trained by their mother, does anyone know a good source on this?

I also seem to recall that Jim Jeffries was seconded by his mother for his fight with Bob Fitzsimmons, but cannot remember where I read this. Any ideas?
