WTH, Adamek to fight golota

The names of Bernard Hopkins, Steve Cunningham and Andrew Golota have recently been mentioned as potential opponents for IBF cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek. Adamek has now said in an interview with the bokser.org website that he has a date lined up to face Andrew Golota in Lodz, Poland on October 24. “I’m glad I finally learned the date for this fight,” Adamek said. “I want to show some quality boxing. The spectators in Lodz will see that I am a true warrior when in the ring.” Facing the much heavier and much more experienced Andrew Golota will be a real challenge for Adamek. “I’m currently discussing the tactics for the fight against Andrew with my coach, Andrzej Gmitruk,” added the Gilowice-born, US-based Adamek. “I will do the training in the States, I’ll come to Poland with 12 to 14 days left to the fight.” A press conference concerning the Adamek-Golota fight is scheduled for this Tuesday in Warsaw.

Interesting, I thought this fight had been put to sleep !!
Bhop would be the better fight for both fans and Adamek, but I dont know if Bhop would like it too much.
I think the Golota fight is dangerous for Adamek...he better make sure he has a "double cup" on!!!!

Andrew Golota is now 41 years old and has not fought since Ray Austin stopped him in the first round in July last year. I thought he may have chucked it in.

Golota will no doubt be getting a decent slice of the pie to fight Adamek.............more than enough to pull him out of "retirement"

Golota will be dangerous early first 2 rounds, after that Adamek picks him apart..............to win a UD or a late Stopped (Golota gasses)

Cannot rule out Golota getting DQ'd either
