Kostya ia top top guy he just looked rediculous!!!! At least he was game for a laugh, whereas Calzaghe just has no personality.

Indeed, the poor lass who he'll be paired with would be better off dancing with a bar of Dove.

I doubt Calzaghe will prove to be much of a dancer, or a personality. Of all the shows to stick him on, Strictly Come Dancing just should'nt be one of them.

I think he'll look rediculous :DD

The way I feel about it is this.............

If he has to sink this low - to remain in the lime light - he better off getting back in the ring instead

I think there would be alot more credibility in him giving Bernard Hopkins a rematch in Cardiff than winning this Show

Whats all this bollocks about Joe is a quiet Country Valley lad who shuns the Limelight ?

Get back in the ring, go through months of hellish training and tough weight making to be punched in the face and win against someone he has already beat (albeit controversially) only to be told, he only won because bhop is even older.

Or alternatively, enjoy his retirement by having a bit of fun in a dance show for the BBC which will make him a few quid into the bargain?

If he wants to do it, fair play to him.

A spot on a prime time show which is one of the most popular "reality" shows in Britain or hosting a chatshow in a pub on some obscure channel(which I don't think even exists anymore) at a time when most people have fecked off to bed?

I'm no fan of this dancing crap but I think I know which one I'd be more embarrassed about :D

If its good enough for Holyfield or Mayweather, then why the daggers out for Calzaghe? could it be jealousy?

What do you expect him to do now he is retired? he has achieved alot more than the majority of other `celebrities` .. so why not enjoy some of the perks and have a little fun along the way. Maybe it will be a chance to show a little bit more of himself and change some of the jealous people out there opinions of him.

Good luck to him. Will I watch? ... no chance. Dancings for girls :D

Expect him to refuse to dance off against anyone other than Gary Rhodes and Quentin Wilson, and then after about 10 years he will take on Matt Dawson and Mark Ramprakash when they are lugging zimma frames about.

I think this could be hilarious. Having said that I actually think it's quite brave of him given the very real prospect of being made to look stupid. I'd rather see this than a past-it boxer taking a beating from somebody that couldn't lace his gloves or another Holyfield title shot.
