Can someone fill me in on Martin Gillick?

I was at the fight between Gillick and Mick Jenno. Fair dues to Gillick for stepping in there, it is a warriors sport, etc, but he was awful. One thing that annoyed me at the time, still does a little, is that Jenno was also turning over, he had trained hard, travelling to Bob Shannon's gym to spar Denton Vassell, who takes no prisoners in sparring, and generally doing what he needed to do.

MTG was making a lot of noise, had given an interview, but he came into the ring looking out-of-shape, fair enough, James Toney looks bad, but Toney can fight, in my opinion, based on what I saw, Gillick cannot fight, not at a professional level.

If memory serves a left hand, Jenno is a southpaw, I think, to the body put MTG down, he got up, the inherent bravery of the boxer, etc, only to be put down again, fight over. Report sent, he got a share of the headline, as he is an Internet mini-phenomenon, and I got slagged off for mocking a noble exponent of the sweet science. I would dig the report out, but it happened after 2005, so BBN might reproduce it in, say, 10-years or so.

Martin was terrible that night, sorry Martin, Jenno's debut got overlooked, along with the fact that he prepared well for it, and then MTG disappeared. I did message him to say that no offense was meant, and he was Ok with that.

Terry, I was the one who complained about that didn't I? lol sorry.... I felt bad for Martin- he added me on Facebook. He obviously wanted very much to be a boxer but left it a bit late to try and make a go of things. Hope he's well.... As for Zelenoff I actually challenged him to a fight in the hope that someone would pay for my brainscan and I could have one more fight but it amounted to nothing so I chat with him regular now.... he's a brilliant personality. Seriously funny.... I'm not entirely sure he's real.
