Easy, Tajbert was a very short counter puncher, he was taking guys apart when they came at him with very hard counters. The very good Frenchman Khedafi Djhelkir for example. The Korean was freakishly tall and could stay stay outside and use his reach, it was about the only style that was going to prevent Tajbert from taking gold and he came up against it. Titchchenko was a pressure fighter and was able to come foward and get inside and pound the Korean not giving him any room to breath. Titchchenko would have been made for Tajbert and in all honesty probably would have been stopped on the outclassed rule, Tajbert would have ripped him to pieces with counters.ABA Boxing wrote:You say that but Guk Song Kim (PRK) beat Vitaly Tajbert (GER) close on points,
but Alexey Tischenko (RUS) beat Kim 39:17. Nice and easy!
What makes you think Tajbert would have beat Tischenko if he couldnt beat Kim?
