Ulrich vs Barney called off

Universum have been forced to cancel their October 16 show in Braunschweig after ticket-seller and EBU lightheavy champ Thomas Ulrich fell ill. The show was to have featured another EBU titlefight, Sergei Dzindziruk v Husseyn Bayram and young heavy Aleksander Dimitrenko taking on Ross Puritty but it was Urich who carried the event for TV and sponsors and with him out it was decided to cancel.

I am actually gutted for Barney it was a golden opportunity for him. Hope he gets some decent fight soon. He might not be the greatest talent of all time but does deserve some respect.

I read somewere that WBU rules state you cannot fight for there title if you've failed a drugs test, Oakey is due back sometime this month i think.
