Boxing writer thinks kessler is too slow for ward

http://www.boxingnews24.com/2009/08/kes ... ld-to-win/

He must not have watched his fight with calzaghe and mundine, there wasn't much differents in their hand speed.

A guy at this other boxing forum i post at was saying the same things, kessler will prove them both wrongs

Americans dont seem to like Kessler at all, i read some articles where they put him in the same boat as Jermaine Taylor..... :-?

I think Ward is going to be eating Canvas in the 7th (if not earlier), the guy does NOT deserve to be in the comp neither should Andre Dirrell.

When is this on? Ward's next fight is against journeyman Shelby Pudwill and Dirrell may find Froch a problem in his next fight.

Ward is very, very good. 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist and undefeated.

Admittedly he is fairly untested with only a lopsided points win over Edison Miranda to his credit but don't think that he will be an easy beat. Who has Kessler beaten?

I wouldn't write of either the Andre's, they're unbeaten and with decent amatuer pedigree.

I've tried to like Froch, but i just can't, i think if Dirrell can take a punch he wins, Froch is too slow and for some unknown reason he leaves his hands too low, a quick fighter will eat him up. Taylor showed how easy it was to pick him off, unfortantly Taylor has the worst stamina of any world rated fighter i can remember. But i will say Froch has heart. :TU:

What a horrible thing to be compared to. Seriously, Kessler is a virtual unkown in the US, but I would favor him to win this tourney. He will be tested though.

Taylor is a fantastic fighter, if his stamina matched his ability with his hands he would be top 5 P4P easily.

:o That is a massive call. No way I would put him in the Mayweather/Marquez class, stamina or not...
