Think Haye could even win this.
Thought he had very slim chances with the Klits. If he just boxes for 12 rounds, he could outpoint the man mountain. I don't think he'll hurt him, he's just too big and seems to have a rare decent chin for such a big man.
I can see DH getting clipped and knocked over badly, but getting up and staying clear of trouble for a points win, maybe.

Tough one in Germany though, no matter how you look at it.

If he wins, the world's his oyster, and the Klits will be begging for the payday, having fast run out of well paying opposition.

I can see Haye landing explosive fast rights over Valuev's ponderous left.

Also, he would be foolish not to drive in some power shots to the body.

Ya but that's basically the HW division for you. Peter and Gomez were top 10 fighters at the time they lost.

The Brewster defeat was a while back and Wlad easily avenged the loss. No one has been competitive with either brother in five years. Peter, Bryd, Gomez, Brock, Thompson, Ibragimov, Brewster, Chagaev, and JCG were all top ten when they faced the Klitschko's and they were all thoroughly outclassed and broken down with the exception of Peter against Wlad, but he still clearly won the fight. How is that not dominate? If they beat Arreola and Povetkin will that change your mind?

Haye wasn't that fast against Monte Barrett, his speed his average at HW but it's enough to beat the exploited Valuev since that guy could't even beat Oldifield!

Haye was exceptionally fast vs Barrett. The lead left hooks, the right hand counters - I would think no one at heavyweight could possibly see these punches coming.

I had Valuev beating Holyfield. It was a dreadful performance. He's a crap fighter, in fact, but his size makes him hard to beat. Holyfield did hardly anything other than circle: hence why it was close because hardly any punches were exchanged.

Got to say there have been some right idiots that manufactured this Holyfield Wuz Robbed controversy - this is what gives the Internet a bad name. Bob Mee and Steve Holdsworth did a nice job commentating during the Eurosport delayed showing of the fight. They pretty much called it as it was, they made it clear that Valuev wasn't particularly good but also that Holyfield wasn't throwing enough punches to go with the movement.

Wouldn't mind seeing Haye knocked into the heavyweight doldrums. He lost me completely by pulling out of the Vitali fight.

In fairness I concede that you are right in this but for me the manner of some of the victory's detract's from what I would class as domination to be honest.......Both are robotic and Wladmir especially is way too careful for my liking.......He is also fragile as has been proved on more than one occasion.......But then so was Lewis I suppose and he dominated so perhap's I am being unfair!

i dunno, i can see haye looking flashy then just walking onto one and it being Goodnight Vienna for him.

Must be awfully tiring to outbox someone like Valuev over 12, does Haye have enough gas??
