Joe will probably get this guy, after he's made the Egyptian Magician disappear.

was gonna say come on guys lets give the hatton bashing a break.

its getitng as boring as his endless list of sub standard opponents.

thing is I think that were quite right to moan about vilches and to an extent stewart BUT there was a marked improvement in Hatton this time, his attitude and comittment seemed far better and it appears we may well get the fight we are after early next year although admittedly that remains to be seen.

He did an number on stewart and was pretty impressive and he now knows its time to step it up. Give the lad a little bit of credit and get behind him for a change.

ndou would be a good match for a fill in fight, excellent in fact if indeed that is true R.D.

You didn't hear that, you heard someone suggest N'Dou could be an opponent.

Which he would.

No announcement has been made but if there is a plan for him to fight in Dec an announcement will be soon cuz Hatton promised he'll never skimp on his training schedule again.
Meaning he'll want an opponent named so he can start his 10 weeks.

N'dou would be good, Leija or even Spadafora.

Hahaha not again! If Hatton fights another bum next then that is IT, FINISHED. What an absolute joke, I don't even care about one of our best talents any more, which is sad. If he doesn't fight Mitchell/Tszyu next then I hope he gets KTFO

WHat are the chances of him clearing his own back yard and giving Juniour Whitter a call. Or dose everyone think that he is a little scaired to take a fight which he could loose and holds little prestege.

About three years ago I was looking forward to going down to Manchester to see a huge domestic bill involving Hatton. Could picture it, was going to be a top night. I also, maybe this was a bit presumptious, envisioned going to Vegas to see Hatton in a superfight against the best. Loved his style of fighting and thought he was really going places. As it turns out I've never had any inclination whatsoever to go and see him fight. Looking back on his whole career I get a huge sense of loss.

Did anyone else have that rosy outlook a few years ago?

If Hatton does fight in December it will be against an easyish opponent given that he should be scheduled to face Tszyu vs Mitchell winner after that.

I would put a guess at Pablo Sarmiento. I wouldn't be critical of that match given that he has won an eliminator to fight for the world title and is just waiting for the chance. He's a stage futher than Eastman and I really cannot see the IBF backing out now.

Its still a shame that the promise given the 2004 will be a defining year hasn't happend, just hope 2005 will be alot better.

So...when he said "the next one will be a big'un" was he referring to the size of his next inferior opponent?
