Michael Lomax hurt in carjacking...

Unbeaten Chingford welterweight Michael Lomax had a lucky escape when thugs ran over him in a stolen BMW last month.
Lomax, winner of all his six pro fights, was working on the car at a public car park in Buckhurst Hill in his role as a valet. Two black men approached and spoke to him about how nice the car was looking. They then walked into local shops. As Lomax was finishing the car, the men returned, forced the keys from him and jumped into the car. Lomax reached for the ignition and pulled the keys, but they snapped off. He fell, and the thieves drove off over both his legs. Lomax was dragged along on his back for a short distance. He has scars and bruising to his legs and back.
Doctors say he was fortunate not have broken his legs.
The car, a BMW Alpina Blue convertible, was later recovered in Chingford. The thieves have not been caught.

Why don't the decent black people make an effort to sort these muppets who give them a bad name? I've nothing against certain criminal activity, but when it's stuff where innocent people are getting hurt in the process, I am.

It's got to the stage that whenever I see a black guy walking down the street I'm keeping an eye on him in case he tries and mugs an old lady or a little kid for their phone etc....

Like I say, unless the black people who have a bit more nouse about them take these wankers in hand, it'll only get worse. If these lads want to act like American street gangsters, they should fornicate off to the USA.

These figures are taken from the 'Black Information Link' - which is an interactive community site for black communities (so you can't say I am being biased).

Black people make up 2% of the population

However....

Between 28 and 31 percent of the people arrested for street robberies in England and Wales are of African Caribbean origin.

In London the rate is higher at six out of ten (60 percent).

These are hard facts, Lirva. Highlighting them is not "stupid". The reputations of the decent African Caribbean origin people in the UK is being ruined, and the problem needs to be adressed, for their sakes as much as anybody elses.

These figures were released by the Commision for racial equality.

Black people make up 2% of the population.

However, they make up 17% of the people in UK prisons (1 in 6).

To put this in perspective: Approximately 5,000 black people are currently on University courses, 10,000 are in jail.

Do you not think this is sad state of affairs that needs addressing? I do.

The government deserve some blame, as do the rest of the population, but ultimately it is upto the African Caribbean community themselves to stamp this problem out.

It's a shame these two thugs didn't get the chance to scrap it out with Lomax over the car...just goes to show you never quite know who your messing with in these situations.
