They're definite and confirmed, and others that are gonna be on the card but I'm not sure if they've been officially announced.

Tyson Fury-quite possibly for the Irish title, he was at the press conference and is basically confirmed but I assume his participation is reliant on him beating McDermott.

Patrick Hyland will be fighting, and Jamie Power is strongly rumoured to be added to the card soon.

I assume there would be another 1/2 fights with that but no idea who it will be.

It was announced that Pajo Hyland [8 rounds] and Oisin Fagan [6 rounds] are now also on the bill, who they are fighting hasnt been decided yet. Particulary looking forward to seeing Pajo fight, looks a very good prospect. Not sure if its true or not but heard Katie Taylor could be fighting too.

I would be quite surprised if Katie didn't feature on the bill considering her popularity with both the Irish fans and RTE alike. Pat Hyland is the best of the bunch IMO and I'm glad to see him getting some exposure.

I would be quite surprised if Katie didn't feature on the bill considering her popularity with both the Irish fans and RTE alike. Pat Hyland is the best of the bunch IMO and I'm glad to see him getting some exposure.

Agreed, Pajo looks like he has that extra bit of class about him, my mates told me he dominated Tebazalwa[dangerous opponent] in his last bout. I was appaled that the Hyland show wasnt televised on Irish TV, it was two IBF International fights after all! Would usually go to see the fights but couldnt make it!

I felt he dominated him and won pretty much every round(but the rounds themselves were competitive enough), however others at ringside felt the decision should have been a little closer.

It was shown on Irish tv, about two weeks later on Setanta Ireland. Seeing as it was meant to be shown about 2 days after it happened that was a bit of a disgrace.

Those IBF International titles mean nothing, it didn't make the fights or the fight card anymore prestigious and I wish Eddie v Oisín had just been for the Irish title.
The step up in class was a lot more significant for the two brothers than the two baubles that were at stake.

He's certainly not as gifted as the other two, and as far as being one dimensional well, in his last fight he seemed to try and show another dimension but ended up fighting much less effectively because of it.

Paulie's going nowhere imo, he's got a very quick and accurate left hook and has good reflexes but that's it.
In his last fight v Rob Nelson(a natural Flyweight) he was busting Norton up and dropped him in the first with a lovely left to the body.
He let Nelson off the hook and allowed him to recover, and from the 2nd round on Paulie started fighting shit......really shit.

He fought most of the rest of the bout Southpaw, eliminating his only decent weapon(that left hook) and his jab was very ineffective from the southpaw stance. What really worried me was that in the clinches Nelson seemed much stronger and was able to bully Hyland(who's naturally two divisions heavier) and Paulie did struggle when Nelson got close. It really was an awful lacklustre display with few positives to take other than he got an 8 round workout and was fighting maybe the 4th best guy he's fought.

He certainly has a lot more potential than he showed that night, but I just get the feeling that even at his best he's still not that good.
Considering his young age, he should improve somewhat and with maybe 10 years of his career at the Bantamweight and Super-Bantamweight limits I suppose he could maybe pick up a European title at one of those weights during that period. But only when the division is a little weaker than normal and a good opportunity arises.

The Good news for Paulie right now is that he's mandatory for the vacant EU title and the guy that has been sanctioned to fight him shouldn't test him too much and Paulie should be able to close in on a European shot in the near future. A shot v Bouziane/Munroe he won't be winning at the moment anyway.

I feel sorry for Eddie in a way, He's quite a bit better than Paulie but his division at European level(Super-featherweight) is so much stronger.
Guys like Gulyakevich, Mitchell, Burns, Tajbert. You'd have to be capable of mixing it at/close to World level to even have a chance.

Patrick is certainly the best of the bunch, he impressed me in his last fight and is a really good all round fighter. He should end up European level at least and if he progresses right who knows.

Kenny Egan should make himself available for the night after disappointing alot of people by not turning up for the Cordoba fight!!

I think by the end of the night most people had forgotten Kenny Egan was even meant to be on the card and I suspect only Cordoba and his team went away from the O2 disappointed that night.

If we're talking about putting amateurs on the card there's more exciting amateurs to put on than Egan and betters ones too.
I'd have Joe Joe Nevin before Egan.

You're right, it will be if it comes off! Call me a pessimist but Sweeney pulls out of fights for all sorts of reasons so when I see him staring at Power from the opposite corner then I'll believe it. We were disappointed recently when John Waldron pulled out of a fight with Power but Jamie did something George Groves didn't and stopped Kirill Pshonko.

If this comes off there will be action gauaranteed. Not necessarily a great deal of sweet science but plenty of gutsy effort.
