Hi there,

Just a few details for you on the above show. This is based on an on-site program I have, which has been lovingly filled in by an enthusiast, who has written in all scores, times and, in most cases, the referee. I think it is reliable as a source as it clearly distinguishes between the judges' scores and the fan's own score, and is very detailed.

(1) Location for this date currently on boxrec seems to be wrong - it should be the Fort Homer Hesterley Armory, Tampa, Florida, USA.

(2) Promoter was Alessi Promotions of Tampa, Florida.

(3) Bouts and details are as follows:

· Richard “The Bonecrusher” Savage beat Antonio Nieves by knockout in round 1 (time 2:50) of a 10-rounder at featherweight. Referee was Victor Perez.

· Bruce Johnson outpointed Leroy Hester over 8 rounds at middleweight by unanimous decision. Scores were 78-76 x 3. Referee was Max Parker Jr.

· Glenn Wolfe (future world title challenger) beat Vint Hammock by technical knock out in round 1 (time 2:04) of a 6-rounder at welterweight. Referee was Max Parker Jr.

· Lamont Haithcoach outpointed Alan Hetrick over 6 rounds at junior-middleweight by unanimous decision. Scores were 60-55 x 2, 59-57. Referee was Victor Perez.

· Keith Jackson outpointed Troy Davis over 6 rounds at featherweight by unanimous decision, although Davis scored a knockdown in round 1. Scores were 59-56 x 3. Referee was Max Parker Jr.

· Don Shiver outpointed Carlos Mims over 4 rounds at junior-middleweight by split decision. Scores were 40-38 Mims, 40-38 Shiver and 39-38 Shiver.

· Steve Bearden outpointed Ken Davis over 4 rounds at junior-middleweight by unanimous decision. Scores were 39-37 x 2, 39-38.

By the way, if anyone wants to buy this program, I’ll be auctioning it for a monster 50p this Wednesday on E-bay. I have a number of boxing programs listed each Wednesday, all at 50p a pop, as I’m moving house in a few months and am having a clearout.
