Morales - Barrera Undercard

Post by mikewl »

Does anyone know what the undercard fights will be.

This is my first time going to a Live Boxing match but have not heard anything about the undercard yet, I know the first fight is sheduled for 5pm Vegas time so there must be a few.

You've got Oscar Larios v Nedal Hussein, 2 fighters we've seen a fair bit of.

Then banger Alex Munoz v Martin Castillo in a reasonable match at super fly.

Sounds like a good card Mike, Hussein-Larios could be the fight of the night IMO. Have a good time! There should be plenty of Latino hunnies there for you :TU:

I've only seen Larios the once that I can remember - I do like him. What UK televised bills has he been on, Kilburn?

Don't miss Kid Diamond!

"When I unload there are no questions asked," says power-punching Kid Diamond, Top Rank's 18-0 lightweight. Diamond, whose real name is Almazbek Raiymkulo, has scored three straight impressive knockouts since being added to the Top Rank roster. KO1 over 10-0 Ray Narh in June, KO1 over 17-2 Ricardo Fuentes in July and KO2 over 19-7 Jose Soto-Karrass in September. He will next surface on the undercard of Morales-Barrera III on November 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Er.. good question Stu. Well I know we saw his apparently losing effort to Willie Jorin a while back. Perhaps we've only seen Larios the once as champ. Either way I think we've seen enough to know what he's about.

Larios smashed Jorrin in the rematch i think, he was robbed in the first fight. Although everyone was robbed against Jorrin he was overrated.

Thanks for the replies all.

I am really looking forward to going, I went to a family wedding in Las Vegas earlier in the year and missed out on the oppertunity to see the Manny Paqiuo (however you spell it) v Marquez by one day :( , I had to settle for just having the Official program booklet.

Its a great bill. Calderon due to be on the undercard - probably the best of the straweights at the moment.

Anyway, Vegas at Thanksgiving in the Comapny of several thousand fight fans and Latino honeyz, a suite at the Palms and a few bottles of decent champagne. Won't be a bad weekend..

Yes, should actually be worth the scandalous PPV fee...but many a slip and all that.
