interesting stuff with Bomber more than holding his own looking good off the back foot. Garcia looks small for a heavy and i wonder i he will end up fighting at Cruiser or Light heavy?

Bomber does look handy there, not that am suprised!

Seeing this makes me excited more than ever, to see Tony in with stronger opponents to show what he can do.

I think those pics are both about 6ft! Anyway, Bellew looks good here (would have been nice to see more footage) although Garcia certainly comes into things more towards the end. I like the way Bomber shortens up his shots as Garcia gets inside, nice change up. Not liking the Everton shirt much though...

Just been looking at a couple of vids of Tony on youtube and came across an enjoyable watch..

It's from the end of last year but gives people an insight into the type of person Bomber is (if you don't already know).. ;;-)

It was a good spar, The kid is a good fighter, If he stays dedicated and lives the life he could do great things!! He's tough and takes a good shot, I think he expected an easy time when coming to spar and it turned into a really hard one for him and myself, He was supposed to come back on the Thursday but didn't show?McCory said it was the hardest he'd seen Garcia pushed, I personally think Perez is the best out of all of them, He's awesome, I watched him really hammer Kenny Egan in Liverpool when he was only a baby to be fair and we all know Egan is a top fighter!!

So there ain't much more to tell about the spar, I'd say I landed the harder shots BUT he was very clever especially with the left hook!! He doesn't load anything and moves very well laterally, I did tire in the last 2 as it was first spar back after injury BUT in the last 2 I still thought it was really even, I think his best round was the 3rd when he changed his gameplan if I remember right, Good fighter though and like I said before I hope he does well and fulfills his potential, Let's remember it's a different type of life in Cuba an when they've arrived here it must be like Christmas everyday!

It's a really good point, as I read a thread recently on the general forum about how some of the Miami-based Cubans have faced accusations of plunging into the party lifestyle too much and neglecting their careers.... though it has to be said the temptation has to be somewhat greater in Miami, think even Hopkins could struggle to stay on the straight and narrow if he was based there
