Crackpot Vanzie to quit at Xmas...

Post by bennie »

Bobby Vanzie has announced in the Bradford press he will quit boxing at the end of the year - no matter what.
Vanzie has assured his long-suffering wife Angela the gloves will be coming off permanently by December 31.
The faded former British and Commonwealth champion, now a Jehovah's Witness, says boxing goes against his new faith.

Vanzie does seem to be coming to the end of his career anyway, would like to seem him move into the media side of things.

He was a pundit for the Howard Eastman fight on BBC, came across well, him and Woodall have an excellent understanding of the game, don't seem to be there just to agree with everything the presenter is saying.

Less said about Steve Bunces attempt at being a presenter the better.

Didn't Johnny Nelson say this also? Can't see Vanzie quitting to be honest, not quite yet anyway. He's had plenty of reason (both to in ring and out of the ring dramas). So why now?

Is he going to knock doors around Bradford preaching? Imagine opening the door to BV in his shimmering shorts.
