klitschko is enormous isn't he

its only 5 inches but it looks about 8 or 9 inches.

I was there, yes big size difference, Klitsckho is huge. Williams looked calm and confident though

i wonder if allegedly will get what he's always wanted out of this fight. i've always thought there's one thing that has pissed off allegedly and that is never having a world heavyweight champion. i know he had herbie hide but that was a tin can title and some might say still is.

great opportunity for danny. madison square garden as well it doesn't get much better than that does it.

tough test thought especially against a tower block like klitschko who carries a serious whack.

From Fw.tv - A number of Sports Network fighters will be on the Vitali Klitschko - Danny Williams undercard, allegedly confirmed today.

Who do you think?

Steve Murray told me he wanted a fight before Xmas, he's got good reviews in America., Any ideas?

I think it might just be you mate. Shame, though: Josh Homme has a scarier stare than either Williams or Klitschko. And probably a better punch than half the 'contenders' out there at heavyweight. Could he win?: 'No-one knows.......'

That is a significant size difference, because Danny weighs so much you sometimes forget he's only 6 foot 2.

I did really like Danny's chances untill I saw these shots, I'm now struggling to see how Danny can get inside the Klitchko jab - he's never had great upper body movement.

Should be a great occasion whatever happens. Headlining the Garden during Christmas, fighting the top man for the top belt = memories forever... looks like Danny Williams made something of himself after all.

Williams will prob come in a little lighter, dont forget against Tyson he only had about 3 or 4 weeks notice. I dont expect him to come in too much lighter though.

Obviously Klit starts favourite, but Danny has a chance.

Where did Klit get that suit - pikey clobber.

Still as near to a 'Rocky' type tale as you will get in Heavyweight boxing in this day and age.

If you had told me when Williams was losing to Sprott in January that he could be the Heavyweight Champion of the world by the end of the year I would have called you crazy.

And whilst I fancy Vitali to roll him over inside 3 rounds the fact is Danny is only one punch away from being da man. Remarkable really.

It's going to take more than one punch to stop Vitali mate...I still fancy Danny's chances though, he's in better condition than Sanders, has decent handspeed, and if he can get the tactics right can hit hard enough and often enough to trouble the Ukranian.

Old news I know, but maybe worth bringing up for the Brit angle: Pele Reid cold-cocked Vitali with a right hand, apparently, as a kickboxer.

Johnny Bos reckons it was a kick, but Brendan says he has the video.

I was just thinking about my Rocky reference earlier on and that maybe allegedly is such a big fan of the films that he tries to put on a potential 'Rocky' upset every other month by plucking unknown fighters from obscurity to take on his world famous superstars.

Even money matchups are a bore, Frankie loves giving the underdog a chance! It's so romantic....

I can remember reading about it a while back, and the story was quite big a few years ago late 90's on the various forums.
