To be fair i am actually hoping he shows some kill and demolishes some fighters and wins.

All audley needs to do is drop "im the man" rubbish, and gain some kill and he could potentially be a world champion. He's got the skills it just the guts he's lacking.

Well to be honest, the 3rnd format will suit him down to the ground. His size will enable him to bully the first 2rnds before his yellow streak loses him the 3rd.

I think he is a clear favourite for this competition. Its just a shame for him that world title fights aren`t over 3rnds

why in b*uggeration's name is a 3round format ideal for Audley Harrison?? total garbage IMO.

if he does win it WHICH HE WON'T then it will be the worst Prizefighter series ever. Audley is running the very real risk of making a total mockery of himself this time......to go from Olympic GM to Prizefighter also-ran is one SERIOUS......never to be seen on a par with again....fall from grace.

And don't forget.......he has promised riches all the way along and in the meantime made himself very comfortable while serving up sh*t.

If he had any self-respect he'd have retired by now.

I`m no Audley fan. But I`m pretty sure he can - and will win this.

If you can`t see why a 3rnd fight would suit a boxer of Audleys past success(he got a gold you know ;;-) ) then I`d best not waste my time trying to explain

fully aware thanks Tony but Tony you have to throw punches to win a fight whether it's one round (well actually some guy supposedly did win a round once without throwing a sigle punch......but that was willie pepp not big Aud)......or 12 rounds.

if he can throw 20 in 12 rounds how many do u think he's going to throw here. Fact is, not that I followed it, it is generally agreed that Fraudley beat the worst field in Olympic Heavyweight history. He's just got worked over by a part time cabbie 3 quarters of his size, but hey, don't let my facts get in the way of your fantasy.

Side note just in case I am appearing nasty about the guy, i'd have no problem at all with him not cutting the mustard, i've been a fan of his myself...but he has been not cutting the mustard while proclaiming himself the future UNDISPUTED heavyweight of WORLD boxing the whole while and got rich on the back of it. Analyse that!

Sadly - I see its you living in a fantasy. That was a Willie Pep myth about winning a round without actually throwing a punch .. It didn’t really happen of course. And the part time cabbie ¾ his size also knocked out the Bedford bear not long after.

We will see who is right or wrong soon enough :TU:

Of course he`s not a `nailed on certainty` ... its the heavyweights of course

I just so happen to think the 3rnds plays to his strengths.

The strange thing is based on Name and Face Recognition, he is still probably one of the 10 best known active sport stars in Great Britain.

Infact i'd say out of a population of 60 million people, maybe as many as 15 million people would know who he was based on his achievements at the 2000 Olympics, BBC and ITV prime time Slots and other related Media spotlights.

If he happens to win PrizeFighter i can image Barry Hearn getting into the Audley business and trying to market him in the same way he did with Eubanks.

hahaha, Tony - he was still a part time cabbie 3 quarters of his size it doesn't matter if he knocked out Ivan Drago shortly afterwards (which was a complete upset btw).

but you are correct, we'll find out soon, altho' I'm not aware of the date, but I would happily wager that Audley will not win this.

If he doesn't, he will be laughed at, and if he does, he will stink the joint out no doubt and become even less respected in professional boxing than he already is. He's in a lose lose situation if you ask me. There's no longer a place for him in the game , and he has achieved this embarrassing status all by himself by constantly running his big mouth.

i might go just for the cringe factor, not to mention the intrigue of how he would deal if faced with Sprott. Where is it at, the York Hall?

I am not a sadist, I would not want to see the guy hurt or badly sparked likehe was last time, but I really don't see how a scared fighter in the first place is going to deal with a guy that destroyed him once already. Fair play to him for putting himself back in that situation though.

However, I feel he's just in it for the money and to have some kind of public profile, rather than the glory, and I think that's how you can end up getting hurt, or so I've been told.

no way on God's green Earth does Audley get past Sprott, which he will have to do to win it. Huge psychological hurdle, he has shown nothing in his career so far to suggest he's capable of it.......Michael Sprott will be Harrison what Tyson was to Bruno.

Lol, this post made me laugh. Funny funny!

Harrison can still be dangerous at times, but lets face it... He spins the same old yarn everytime and never comes up with the goods, so why should any one believe in him anymore?

We shall see, will be a good watch with these boxers involved!

I know it sounds bizarre, but I think that if the Big Aud of the second Williams fight turns up, he'll win this. He's an on-top, in-front fighter & I think three rounds is too short a time to get on top of the big lug & change his mind about whether or not he wants to fight -- particularly if you're carrying four extra stone (I'm looking at you Mr Williams!).

Victory here will set him up nicely to be knocked out in about two minutes by David Haye, when Haye's latest fight falls through (after Valuev eats the WBA officials at his final medical).

All hail Audley!

It's not as of Sprott gave him a beating. It was really only the one punch that won him the fight, and since it put Audley out cold, Audley may not even remember it. Therefore the psychological aspect might not be that great. Bruno mentally dissolving in the Tyson rematch would have been because he remembered how hard Tyson punched, given that he remained conscious and shipped a lot of blows. Not quite the same as one punch that puts you out.

Also, while the manner of the defeats were different, Audley didn't have any problem raising his game for the Williams defeat. Yes, that was a points defeat, not a KO, but he did suffer a big knockdown in that too, and Williams punches harder than Sprott.

You could be right, but I honeslty don't think Audley will carry any demons into a potential Sprott rematch - or at least not more than any other.
