This will be an easier fight for Froch than Taylor, Dirrel has very little lateral movement moving backwards in straight lines, Froch imo will stop him inside 4 rnds

I've seen Dirrell fight on youtube and he has very fast hands but looks easy to hit and doesn't punch particularly hard. These weaknesses are likely to prove decisive against Froch who will just walk through him. I don't think Froch will stop him early but instead think he will tko him around the 9th.

I'll be in attendance (most likely working on the show). Should be a good competitive fight. The slickness of Dirrell versus the power and granite chin of Froch :box:

I think we are in block 15. Will be hitting Hooters at some point. That place will be rammed.

Well I didn't think I was going to go, but my mate was so insistent about going I gave in. :DD Hopefully gonna get steaming to forget the undercard but the main event should be awesome.

We're going to make a weekend of it, try and get tickets to Nottingham Forest v Newcastle on the saturday evening, then staying for the Ice Hockey there the next day. Conveniently, my local team the Coventry Blaze are playing in Nottingham that sunday afternoon.

We got row L in block 16 for the fight through Hennessy's ticketline site. Seetickets would only give us row R or S in the blocks around there, so pretty much no contest in the end.

yep, got a few lads from MK coming up for the day. Just got the tickets in BLOCK 14 (£45), looks like a decent view.
Should be an awesome atmosphere on the night.

in an ideal world we would be able to watch the Abraham vs Taylor fight at a pub in nottingham before going to the arena to watch the Froch fight.

Hooters will definitely have the footy on (especially Forest v Newcastle) but I guess they may show the Froch fights on the smaller TV's if you ask.

Does anyone know if the 'last entry' thing is a condition of the license and therefore likely to be enforced? The people I am taking to this will have no interest in a dire undercard at all and it will kill the evening for them if we are forced in for 3 hours of rubbish.

id agree with you on that , what food there is , is crap and expensive plus once your in your in , no going back
