his fight up on youtube, terangi's rec has this as his quickest stoppage even against big hitters like cameron, hoppa, tauasa, izonritei etc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X2KhaQe ... ture=email

leapai weighed in lightest he's been at 102kg would destroy chauncey

He just needs to make sure that when he secures a fight he actually secures the fight...

After watching the fight...oh dear. T'man will fight again next Saturday in Dunedin. Kick Boxing K-1 rules.

Alex might want to start chasing the bigger fish now.

Top ten Australians that leapai has fought; Briggs,Kirby,Wilson,Cronje,De Mori. Also some good wins against Kiwi ranked fighters Mensah,Azzaoui.
He needs to step up his level of opponents than he has of late, I would love to see a couple more local matchups with Leapai and theres a couple across the Tasman as well that are mouth watering.

IT was always going to come up rouge, afterall Camerons team have turned Chauncy down numerous times in the past! Apparently foe bieng to fat for TV? German TV didnt think so when he fought Solis. Maybe just a simple case of not wanting ot be showen up by a fat guy on national TV :TU:

As for Leapai VS Cameron, Alex has the power to hurt Cameron, Terry Smith hurt Cameron a little and Smith couldnt punch his way our of a wet paper bag! Alex would have to land hard and early i think Shanes conditioning and general fitness is a level above Leapais. So once it got past the 4 round its probably Shanes fight.

Leapai vs Cameron would be a ripper both world ranked and 2 of Australasians best heavies, N2 Shape - i think if it goes past 4 rounds it still be close leapai also has the stamina and KO power to go 12rounds.

you never know 1 punch can change the out come of the night.

Yes the Leapai V Cameron fight would be very good to watch. Let's keep an eye on that, who knows? Relatively-evenly matched with exciting styles. Advantage Cameron at this point in time...

Fat Dorky White Guy

We were just talking about you last night on The State Of Boxing. We gotta get you on the show 1 of these Sundays to get the scoops on what you are up to and how New Zealand is buzzing about the Fight Of The Century.

Dr. Goodnights name is getting bigger down that way in Aussie Aussie Aussie land....I don't know if it is more from being involved with Dexter Dunworth or for the Kangaroo STD jokes?

I'm really not sure. I know Friday Ahununya (I'm sure I tortured the spelling of that one) was offered the fight too with Hoppa but turned it down. I'm hoping Hoppa accepts me as yes, this is a big stage to fight on in the part fo the world I love. :TU:

Hi Chauncy,
Good luck mate, hope the figth comes together for you.
From what I hear though Ahunanya actually agreed to the fight but Hoppa wasn't keen. Second hand info so take it with a grain of salt of course...

Theres alot of support and interest in Chauncy in this part of the world especially, its kind of lost on the promoters for Tua Vs Cameron though. I had a dozen people at the Leapai VS Te Rangi fight te other night asking if Chauncy was fighting on the show and that they'd but it if he fought a decent aussie! Straight up!
