HeavyWeight PrizeFighter 3

Post by danners2003 »

who do you lot think will win?
I think Danny - as he is my favorite fighter, and on other sites they seem to think Danny too, which is great!

Also is anyone going to this? Im going to try to book tickets tomorrow - but I heard they are selling fast!

I think Sprott will win but the semi finals will be interesting fights.

shame on the two tits that went for A-Farce.
Gammer hasn't got a chance either he got KOd by Williams then retired.
I'll go Sprott on the basis that he will throw punches and he can hit.
Is Scott Belshaw the lad that Fury just beat or am I getting mixed up cos that guy looked atrocious IMO.

IMO, as usual, If The proper Danny Williams turns up, he has the ability to take it imo.

But recently, he has just been "showing up" and not like his prime days. Again, just my opinion.

I said Williams but with Audley's AM career he will be a threat over 3 rounds I see Williams, Sprott, Harrison and Gammer in the semi's unless they get drawn together and then a Harrison vs Williams final which really could go either way it'll be an exciting night of boxing

am gonna go with the unpopular choice of harrison as alex said think his amateur backround will really help him out has'nt there been talk of this one being seeded so that the likes of williams sprott an harrison dont face each othere till the semis

Yeah thats Belshaw mate.
Where did you see Danny Hughes sparing? I wouldn't mind seeing it.

I agree, Harrison's amateurs will help him, but we must also remember Danny had a good amateur career too!

I've heard Danny is really training for this, and I really want him to win it!

I would be so annoyed if anyone but Danny won it! :witzend:

Did the Prizefighter thread with the poll just get merged with the regular Prizefighter thread? That doesn't make sense to me, if it did.

If this thread is going to be the official Prizefighter thread then shouldn't the title be changed? As the Prizefighter line up is not breaking news anymore.

Why not? Does he really have no chance of beating Williams, Harrison or Sprott? He will only have to beat two of those fighters at most to win the tournament.

Should Micheal Holden still be allowed in the Prizefighter tournament?

He fought this guy last night Tomas Mrazek (wins 4 losses 22 draws 4) to a Draw!

and according to Boxrec, Holden was dropped in the 3rd round by a left hook to the head.

I doubt he'll go more than 1 round against the likes of Williams, Sprott or Audley so is there any point?

No, they should get someone else.

Sprott or Williams for me.

Would be good to see Harrison win it just for the ringside interview after. I get the feeling he may call another London heavyweight out.

Don't see the pace suiting Audley's style and he's not the most active guy out the competitors.

Anyone know who the standbys are for this edition?

What shape will Danny be in?

Isn't it ramadan now? will he be fasting while he's training? surely that won't be any good.

I think Audley could bull s hit his way through these fights, with his reach and defensive style he could be hard to outpoint over three.

People forget he did well against a fit and motivated Williams, even in defeat. I had it even after eight rounds.
