Re: Khan Murray on for Dec according to Roach
I really do want to see Khan/Murray. Never mind any World titles, this one is all about being the best in the north west and of course the best in Britain. Khan still has to prove himself at domestic level. Being a World champion is bollox if you cant prove you are better than your British rival who has had more fights and is still unbeaten. Murray should have no problems with Thaxton who I feel will quit after their upcomming fight. Khan has to know the WBA World crown wont fit on his head until he settles matters with John Murray. I think, if the fight comes off, Murray will have to stop Khan or lose on a points decision. Murray can punch and can take a punch as well, so I feel he would get the win by stoppage about halfway through. Somehow I cant see the fight comming off, its too risky for Khan. Rebuilding after a loss to Murray would end his PPV reign, and thats a very strong possibility. If it does come off, however, I can see Hatton and Moorsey getting behind Murray, as Hatton did with Gomez, when Gomez fought and beat Alex Arthur. Manchester grit and determination combined would be too much for the overrated Khan to handle.

I'll bet Murray is on call if Salita pulls.
