I believe that it is mostly you who is acting immaturely on this thread. Woods had a very good career and you are being disrespectful because he lost a few fights and held a paper belt.
Woods was one of the better alphabet title holders, picking up wins over 2 top 10 rated guys in Johnson and Gonzalez during his title reign, and only losing it to the top 10 rated Tarver.
If you wanted to "wind up" posters you really could have chosen a different thread to this one to vent your frustrations - your continued denial in thinking you have not written anything wrong is baffling to say the least. I actually find some of your posts rather sad and could recommend a good doctor for you to have a chat with!!!

It's all relative. For what they've achieved, I'd say they've had great careers. Certainly could have gone a lot worse for both of them.
He wasn't a "great" fighter, but he had a great career, simply because he achived much more than he would of expected to, when he first started his pro career. Clinton is quite similar to Johnny Nelson in that respect, another fighter who wasn't a "great", but had a great career.

Johnny probably had more natural talent and could have achieved more... Woods gave it a good go, and I'll take my hat off to him for that.
I wish you all the best in retirement, Clinton! You pushed hard for the Calzaghe fight & I wish you had got it, but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes!

Not one to set the pulses racing, but a decent operator who actually got better with age in my opinion - Mixed in true world class, and was successful around the lower fringes.
Should be very proud of what he achieved.
I just was looking over his record and noticed his last 11 fights involved the IBF in some form or another - Some good work by his team there.
yes, and the next time that warren's minion comes on here to post "defamatory" content on rival promoters like hobson (derogatory comments injurious to reputation), let's give hobson credit for helping get clinton so many opportunities. woods was ready to retire a few years back, but hobson got him that IBF elim (or whatever) vs delisle and clinton went on the best run of his career
