I am in the process of putting my entire collection onto DVD. Were there any particular fights you were looking for?

any chance of posting a list?Boxscribe wrote:I am in the process of putting my entire collection onto DVD. Were there any particular fights you were looking for?
list
I don't have a list relating to individual fighters just yet. When I started recording live events and delayed stuff from the TV in 1983 I never thought I would end up with so many fights.
As I went along I just wrote down what was on each tape, so I do have a list of what I have, just not broken down by fighter or ready to post.
I stopped taping everything that was on a few years back and started to be more selective. I also started to exchange fights with other collectors, so I have some old stuff too.
Langford, Ketchel, Owen Moran, stuff like that. Oldtimer interviews, Burley, Moore, Bivins, Marshall, Billy Smith and plenty of 40s - 50s fights.
I also have Hall of Fame interviews conducted with Gavilan, Pep, Basillio, Fulmer, Griffith, hagler, Ike Williams, Olivares, Eddie Futch and several others. These are really great and were passed onto me by the widow of the guy that originally conducted them.
I suppose I should get cracking on a list. If I get one together Rob I will email it to you.

early fights
Tony,
I'll let you know more of what early stuff I have when I get a list together. I just finished transfering some old-time clips, mainly sparring - Dempsey, Louis etc., monologues of Jeffries, (original) Joe Walcott, Tommy Ryan and the like. I will add all that to a list too.
I didn't hear anything back from Steve. I don't know if he did a review.
As for Cocoa Kid title, you will have to refresh my memory.

Sorry, no. Can't say that I've seen any of his fights either. Someone must have something.
