On a side, if McDermmott would have fought like that before, he would have been British champion. If only he fought with this much confidence against Danny. Sure, Fury doesn't have Danny's power (not close) - but he threw more punches than the 2008 version of Danny could dream of throwing. McDermmott fought inspired tonight, he fought "scared" against Danny.

I was scoring rounds and had it 6-3 with last round even for McDermott, I don't think that you could seiously make a case for Fury, it was a very poor decision.

I had McDermott 4 up that was a disgraceful result 98-92 what a joke O'Conner has gone right down in my estimations terrible scoring McDermott used the ring and fought inside very effectively whereas Fury never got his height working

You didn't watch it, so why are you trying to have a say on whether it was a robbery or not?
im not trying to have a say at all. its just a few people r saying its the worst desision they've eva seen and others r saying a draw wouldve been fair. seems like theres a lot of mixed opinions is all. seems strange that opinion is so divided. and to be fair, "robbery" is bandied about a hell of a lot nowadays.

Thought Dallas looked quite good but his and Larry's opponants looked terrible. Both he and Larry landed good combinations and looked very strong

Power looks in trouble here im impressed with Hall

Big Bad John won that fight easily. Terry O'Connor should be retired now! Terry must have had his life savings on that fight FS. I hope to god the board overturn that stupid decision.

Considering he's with the equally delusional Hennessey who is feeding the delusions and that the guys he fought before John didn't fight back, yes he should be written off. Plus mentally he doesn't have it as he's a mouthy fat baloon who's easily bitter and thinks he's owed alot!

OK TYSON WON....Lets get over that now can we.

Lets talk about the positives.

Tyson has a CHIN

Tyson has STAMINA

Tyson has COURAGE

Tyson is still only 21, he is still a Novice and went up against someone who'd just had 2 close fights with a Top 30 Heavyweight in Williams.

Tyson will learn alot from this, infact i'd rather have this kind of fight now than later, he is a rough diamond that still needs loads of polish yet.

Give him a chance!

Im not knocking Fury im knocking O'Conner

Sure Fury was brave and showed lots of good things but in terms of winning not a chance McDermott really deserved that win

Heres hoping. Or at least if they can "review" it.

To Whom it may concern,

after watching tonight's English title boxing match between Tyson Fury and John McDermot I have a few issues which I would like to raise with the BBBOFC.

The referee scored this bout 98-92, I would like to know the exact scores per round for this bout, as nobody else had Fury wining never mind by the wide margins given by the referee.

The commentators and most of the public scored this fight to McDermot by 2+ rounds up. How on Gods earth did Terry O'Connor score this bout 98-92 ?

I can not understand the wide margins given by the referee and really do feel there has been a serious injustice with the scoring of this bout; check the Sky Sports stats on punches landed etc.

Due to the number of professional boxers/commentators and also public that scored this fight at least 2+ rounds to McDermot I really have to wonder if there was an alternative motive to the referee; Terry O'Connor's; decision ? I really do think that I should refer this decision to the relevant authorities to investigate possible underhand activities.

Many Thanks

I was thinking before hand that this will be a tough fight for martin,Martin showed speed, nice skills but hall was just too big and strong.Martin was giving away weight and height.I wouldn't retire if i was martin,i would move down to s-flyweight and fight Boxers his own size.I think at S-Flyweight,Power can be a force.

I just finished watching the boxing tonight I am disgusted by the descion big John won the fight by few rounds imo. Fury might come again in few years but he never go beyond euro level. I felt sorry Mcmuffin deserved thta I cant see Fury winining the rematch. Fury will duck it. I say this now Chisora would stop Fury! Price is our best prospect!

He was closer to the action than anyone...he saw the clean punches landed.

Dont be calling him a cheat when your sitting watching on your LAPTOP or TV.

Good Victory for TYSON, a good learning fight.
I was at the fight and pretty much every person there was disgusted with the result
