to have it by 6 rounds looked awful.

not the worst decision i've ever seen but i thought Jim Watt was as equally bad in commentary, he decided he didn't like Fury early doors and gave him nothing, he doesnt help.

I completely agree and I am withholding my betting slips until this fcking sham gets investigated because in my opinion that is PRECISELY what we just witnessed tonight.

It makes me sick because top and bottom is it's not just about careers and money, lads are putting their lives on the line when they get in that ring.......and in my opinion, f*ckers are on the take.

I won't take O Connor seriously ever again, and in addition, future shows, such as the Khan fights I've attended, or Froch fights......I just won't go to any more if I get one hint that this f*cker will be involved.

BRILLIANT OWN GOAL BOXING. WELL DONE.

Jim Watt was spot on. He saw Fury's clear lack of pop, clear padded record, clearly inferior work........I mean that pathetic (illegal) back hand pawing he kept doing to Mcdermott's stomach.........no wonder he can do 10 rounds on the bag if that's what he does in the gym he could do a hundred. Watt saw all this, not to mention the clinging for dear life, and he called it!

Fury said he's sparred and gotten the better of 10 rounders with better men than "Mcmuffin" in the run up to this.......Yeah, course you have Tyson. I was a fan.........I'm now a Mcdermott fan.

Big Bad John won that fight easily.

Terry O'Connor should be retired now!

Terry must have had his life savings on that fight FS.

I hope to god the board overturn that stupid decision and asses O'Connor's license that was shocking; 8 feckin rounds?

I think that Tyson's face betrayed the words coming out of his mouth. He was schooled by McDermott and only won the fight because it was as bent as a corkscrew..........simple as that

The most shameful aspect of it all is how O'Connor himself was a mediocre journeyman loser of a boxer - yet he inexplicably ALWAYS sides with the popular 'name' boxer who's supposed to win.

No fighter who knows O'Connor's hideous agenda should ever want the man stood in the ring reffing one of their fights ever again.

Joking aside......humour should not distract what was AN ABOMINATION tonight.

It's only my suspicion but I think he got the best purse in the house tonight did the big disgrace.

I'm honestly flabagasted by his lack of judging skill.. Is there any board or body that can review his decision... Poor poor John, a very tactical and strong opponent tonight that honestly deserved to win, I was impressed with John tonight, he was jumping forwarwd an removing Tysons natural asserts to bring the fight into his comfort zone!!!

JOHN FOR THE WIN!!!

TYSON PLEASE HAND THE BELT BACK!!!!!!

Yeah he needs to go, he's a clueless bum, or worse.

I feel bad for both boxers, Mcdermott because he was blatantly robbed, and Fury because he had what would have should have been called an impressively valiant defeat, turned into a farcical "win" and soon to be notorious robbery.

The dumbell ref has managed to hurt both boxers here, robbed one and tainted the rep of the other.

To Whom it may concern,

after watching tonight's English title boxing match between Tyson Fury and John McDermot I have a few issues which I would like to raise with the BBBOFC.

The referee scored this bout 98-92, I would like to know the exact scores per round for this bout, as nobody else had Fury wining never mind by the wide margins given by the referee.

The commentators and most of the public scored this fight to McDermot by 2+ rounds up. How on Gods earth did Terry O'Connor score this bout 98-92 ?

I can not understand the wide margins given by the referee and really do feel there has been a serious injustice with the scoring of this bout; check the Sky Sports stats on punches landed etc.

Due to the number of professional boxers/commentators and also public that scored this fight at least 2+ rounds to McDermot I really have to wonder if there was an alternative motive to the referee; Terry O'Connor's; decision ? I really do think that I should refer this decision to the relevant authorities to investigate possible underhand activities.

Many Thanks

Feckin assholes, Mcd was robbed.

O'Connor has been a joke of a referee for years, this is just another in a very long line of cock ups - He's our worst ref by a country mile, and has been for some time.

Revoke his license already, before he makes a mockery of British boxing more than he already has.

Mmmm tens of thousands on Fury win, disgusting referee decision.. Fix anybody??

Terry O'Connor takes Dave Parris's crown as the P4P Corrupt ref. Cant stand John McDermott but generally feel sorry for the bloke.

Why not pick 3 respected boxing journalists to score the bouts like the olden days because the money hungry judges and refs cant do it honestly at all??

i watched German boxing on Eurosport and seen ref's allow people to get up 6 times and take an unholy amount of punishment......

i've read about Danny Williams getting utterly jobbed, or attempted jobbed, in Spain

We KNOW about the Italians already......did the Irish boy get robbed not very long back against Maludrotto??.....just one in a long line

and we've all laughed, tutted........and been generally disgusted by the shocking level of some foreign reffing......

.......and now today, we can't laugh, tut, or be disgusted anymore..........THANKS MR O'CONNOR.

Us British like to be in our ivory tower making out we are whiter than white etc but this is boxing and too much money has been invested in Fury to allow him to lose.
Our politicians are just as bad and do the same tricks as 'other' countries we look down on

Yes, please ban Terry O'Connor. I felt thoroughly embarrassed for boxing tonight. I was there watching it live.
