ANNUAL THOMAS HAUSER Award GOES TO OUR VERY OWN BUZ

ANNUAL THOMAS HAUSER Award GOES TO OUR VERY OWN BUZ

Boxrec’s Buz (“I don’t have a clue what boxing is and I am a ‘moderator’ on a ‘boxing’ website, Yuk, Yuk”)

is this year’s winner of the coveted annual THOMAS HAUSER Foundation award

for the most sickening shilling for the media-created product known as “Ali.”

Buz’ credentials as a panderer for Ali include:

his classic remark that to post a photograph of Ali knocked flat on his back by Joe Frazier on a ‘boxing’ website is “DEFAMATION
.”

Buz has also distinguished himself by his constant remark that Ali “got up” after he was knocked flat on his back by Joe Frazier

as if that somehow is more important than the fact that Ali was not competent enough defensively to protect himself against Frazier’s left hook and landed flat on his back with his legs flying in the air after getting clobbered with it.

CONGRATULATIONS BUZ !

MOTTO of the THOMAS HAUSER Foundation:

“The less you know about boxing, the more you qualify to be a member of the walking army of sycophants groveling for the “Religion of Ali”

WARNING: “The Religion of Ali” is a fully protected Trademark of the THOMAS HAUSER Foundation
and may only be used by fully authorized THOMAS HAUSER Foundation agents.

Who is your favourite boxing writer?

I have never liked Hauser or Sugar.
I do not think Buzz does either.

From the old timers and from a historical perspective, I've always enjoyed reading George Siler (Chicago Tribune) and W. W. Naughton (San Francisco Examiner). Sam Austin's articles from the turn-of-the-century Police Gazette are very interesting to read as well.

I would love it if you could get the Police gazette articles in one
book. I have only a handful of scans and I really enjoy the style
and illustrations.

Find a library that has the full version of ProQuest on-line, and you can download them to your heart's content.

Be sure to PM gran if you find any pictures of well-developed (nudge, nudge) young lads.

Hey, he's in a good mood, even attempting to throw down some humor.....this is the NEW gramps! Let's just enjoy the tempered contributions and count our blessings here. No sense pushing him back over the edge.

By the way I don't think Hauser is the anti-christ.....so in his mind I'm sure I deserve an award. But I do take great umbrage at having my name trifled with. And that's why I always take care to spell garnbury's name right.

But it appears he does not feel the need to treat me with equal respect. I'm sure it was just an oversight.

By the way Grammar, I'm still wondering if Eddie had Franklin's number. And if you knew why their rematch was canceled at the last minute?

funny award and clever commentary gran - and it looks as if some others took it seriously and named the writers they LIKED!

will someone tell collins that it is no longer necessary to stay in the closet.....no shame in being gay and no need to remain latent?

don't knock buzzy's lack of knowledge about the sport. he knows he has me to count on for the correct history and commentary.

Jack Flem2! The only poster in here who makes Boxbuzz look like a boxing expert.

Get your snout of gran's back crack before you start calling me a faggot, you old fraud!

Look jaclem, if you'll just continue to make me look like the expert, I'll see to it that your stipend is increased.

A brilliant opening salvo from everyone's favourite curmudgeon.

Then a bit of witty reparte between another old bullshitter and the trainee novice boxing historian Buzz.

Enjoy!

Read through this, and I don't find this guy (granberry) that witty or funny. He seems obsessed with Ali and a mod and that's about it.
