Good observation. I heard it's Suliman's money behind this project.Sounds Like there trying to take over pro boxing.
AMATUER DRAFT

Re: AMATUER DRAFT
Mel, the WSB isn't going to take over local amateur shows so the same officials will still be handling your shows in Southern California.
Jeff - the salaries are a big question mark.

Re: AMATUER DRAFT
Yep - was told by one of our AIBAs that it would be handled by AIBA, including scheduling of officials. Whew!Mel, the WSB isn't going to take over local amateur shows so the same officials will still be handling your shows in Southern California.

Re: AMATUER DRAFT
They don't intend to have the fighters wearing headgear. That information is out there for you to read. If you care enough to comment, at least care enough to know the basic info on what you're talking about.verballistic wrote:if they intend to have fighters wearing headgear, there is NO CHANCE this thing will EVER rival pro boxing or provide any serious competition to the pro game!!byrdman66 wrote:Sounds Like there trying to take over pro boxing.
My question would be want dose the Boxer get Paid? (For those who get picked)
Re: AMATUER DRAFT
WSB - no headgear, no jerseys/singlets/shirts (whatever you want to call them) and more rounds (5 rounds of 3 minutes each for the regular season). The scoring will be different too. Closed paper scoring using a 10-point must system. Isn't it amazing that AIBA admits that the 10-point system is better for the WSB and plans on using it!!!!!
Re: AMATUER DRAFT
According to WSB's website, Robert Brant has become the first USA boxer to sign the Pre-Employment Agreement. I'm going to start a new WSB thread.

Not really when you consider that AIBA is trying to get a slice of the pro money.Isn't it amazing that AIBA admits that the 10-point system is better for the WSB and plans on using it!!!!!
