Soliman v Piper

Post by Marlin »

Not the worst domestic match up going around. You would think Sam will have to much for Les but lets hope Piper takes the bull by the horns and makes the most of his opportunity.

Porky on the undercard :box:

He has actually made 73.1 before when he fought George Livaditis in Nov 2007.

Is that Les, or Rowdy Roddy?

If it's Les, how is training going for this?

Who is Rowdy Roddy?
It is Bryan Lynch, Les's trainer.
Training is going well, Should be a cracker of a fight!

It's a pretty good line-up top to bottom.

I understand that Soliman has been looking good in the gym and appears freshened up after the layoff. Sparred with Porky yesterday arvo at the St Kilda PCYC.

Porky's been getting in work with Kerey Palmer and will travel up to Sydney this weekend to finish off his prep by sparring Shannan Taylor.

Kashi Mumtaz may not have the prettiest record, but he's a good honest fighter who has been in with some of Australia's best.

Rowdy Roddy was one of the clowns in pro wrestling. In boxing he would be an "overweight."
