Won JR Olympic Gold against some heavily touted opposition. His coach told me his progression to the seniors didn't work as he is KO hungry which worked in the school boys but against men it didn't.stevieb_8006 wrote:i seen him box loads of times as an amatuer. fought out of the golden ring gym. good fighter with skills. was a sortof "schoolboy starlet" then struggled a little when he had to face the men. i'll keep an eye on him. ive heard hes a nice fella.
On the occassions I've met him through his cousin he's been top and interested to see how he progresses in the pros.

Re: Tony Hill
Apparently it was pretty even, then Hill caught him with a big shot, Barr went down heavily, got up at 8, then went back down on one knee as he was having probs seeing as he also caught a bit of a thumb in the eye
