Harris threatens to pull out of fight unless purse issues are straightened out

WBA 140 lb champion "Vicious" Vivian Harris has just informed xxx that his rematch with mandatory challenger Oktay Urkal may be cancelled. Harris is threatening to pull out of the fight unless he and his team are able to come to agreements with how much of his purse he is actually entitled to.
"Hear this, and hear it now. If these (people) don't stop playing with my money, I'm pulling out of the fight. It's that simple," an enraged Harris told xxx just moments ago. "In eight weeks, my purse has gone from $450,000 to now where I'm barely going to be taking home $60,000. fornicate that, I'm not fighting for people who are stealing my money, and are making more than I am. They need to straighten this out right now, or the fight is off. I don't give a fornicate if it means losing my title."
The crux of the situation stems from an out of court settlement between Harris and Finkel, where Harris agreed to pay Finkel $125,000 to officially terminate their contract, thereby permanently severing ties between the two. Shrotly thereafter, Finkel demanded that Harris pay him an additional $10,000 to cover legal fees.
"This (person) take me to court, threaten to sue me, and I have to cover his legal costs? Whatever. I agreed to it just to get rid of him."
Apparently, it wasn't enough, as Harris was told less than an hour ago that he is now also required to pay the tax on the $135,000 as well. That was the final straw.
"I give him $125,000. He asks for $10,000 more, and I give it to him. Now he wants me to pay his taxes as well? Get the fornicate out of here. They want to play with my money, so now I want to know where the other $135,000 of my purse went."
The other $135,000 Harris is referring to comes from confusion over the original purse offer. The night before the purse bid, Team Harris was told that they were being offered $450,000 for the fight. However, when all was said and done, the amount listed in the contract was $315,000 - or 70% of the original indicated amount.
Normally, when another promoter is the SOLE promoter of a fight in which Harris participates, then Main Events is entitled to 30% of the purse that Harris receives. However, should Main Events promote or co-promote his fight, the only money they are entitled to is that generated from the fight itself, and not from Harris' purse.
Main Events has contended all along that the offer was $315,000, but Team Harris now wonders how they came up with an amount that equates to exactly 30% less than what was originally mentioned
