At this point it's best not to make such comments- the death is not being treated as suspicious, but it's best just not to speculate. It could be accident, misadventure etc.

Devastated this is true, he came across as a top lad.

Such tragic news...

Rest in peace Darren.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

I just found out this shocking news.

Darren was a wonderful talent, who achieved great things in such a short time that all of us would be proud to achieve in our lifetimes. The saddest thing is that he could have achieved so, so much more because he was genuinely world class material. On top of this he seemed like a great guy who would go out of his way to help others. Truly a sad day.

Yeah, but the obvious circumstances don't always tell the full story sometimes. There will be an inquest and a verdict reach, so until then it's generally better not jump to tabloid-style conclusions. Best not speculate on details.

RIP Dazzler. :box:

Just checked his Boxrec page and it looks horrible to see his death date on it. Such a waste of life and talent. Cant stop thinking back to the Olympics and RTE cameras in his house with his family after he won the medal, how happy they were then and how devastated they must be now, deepest sympathies to them all.

Keep on fighting Champ, never be forgotten! Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé

I still can't believe it. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Looking forward 2010 because 2009 has just been horrible and its only September.

My thoughts have been with Frank and his promotional firm this weekend, now my thoughts are with him for very different reasons.
