o.k,predict.and i will be laying him heavily on betfair.people seem to forget he was extremely fortunate to get past taylor, and that had more to do with jermaines stamina problems than anything carl did.he was exposed imo that night, although he has shown limitations before,westerman,magee,adamu...

You must remember that Kessler had not fought since Oct 2008, thus he needed a couple of rounds to get rid of the ring rust. Right him off at your peril.

Abraham is clearly the smallest guy in the tournament and that might affect his chances. I rate him highly though.

i dont think ring rust affects top fighters as much anymore there are numerous fiighters that have comeback with no ring rust.
Klitschko, chagaev, hopkins, wright (he was just overmatched with paul williams) de la hoya i dont think mayweather will look ring rusty either.

abraham has been in with big punchers and bigger men than himself i dont think its much of a hindrance for him. its just if his power moves up with him, eddison miranda isnt a good yardstick as he was a middle that moved up that abraham beat and hurt in thier first fight.

i must say though that i did pick kessler to win at first but ive switched to abraham though i am sesing and upset somewhere by 1 of the young Americans

Gave kessler trouble? when and where? The guy came to fight, fair play to him but he gave kessler no trouble whatsoever.
second half of round 1 and round 2 he gave kessler trouble he was all over him

Westerman, magee were sparked... adamu was dropped heavy. He took apart then knocked out Jermain Taylor and was ahead on one card. Froch has flaws, but he has unrivalled heart and power to turn any fight around at 168lb.

Heart + Chin + Power plus that hungry, determined will to win is hard to overcome.

Speed, skills and a high guard is not always a recipe for success against Froch. Ask Pascal & Taylor.

I can only see Froch or Kessler winning the tournement.

Ward and Dirrell are way too inexperienced to win it imo. They both have great skills, fast hands and reasonable power but both (and Dirrell in particular) are very easy to hit and have simply not encountered the sort of power and pressure they will face when coming up against big hitters like Froch and Kessler. I may be wrong but I don't see them coping with what those two guys will bring. Neither do I believe that they will be able to handle Taylor who is every bit as fast as them and way more experienced. I feel the tournement will be a real eye opener for these two and they will struggle to win a fight.

Taylor is the best boxer in the tournement in terms of ability but I believe 2 things will let him down. Firstly, he clearly has stamina problems and this will again be tested when he faces durable guys like Abraham, Froch and Kessler who are very difficult to stop. Secondly, I wonder whether he has the mental strength to win it. While he may have dominated large parts of the fight against Froch, the fact that he was taken out so emphatically in the final round must have affected him psychologically and I just wonder whether can put this to the back of his mind.

Abraham is the most unpredictable I think. The guy is very durable, has good skills, is experienced and has an unbeaten record. However, he is moving up to fight at a weight he has little experience at. While his chin has never given him problems before, I wonder whether he can take the relentless power Froch and Kesler will dish out.

im not saying they won, just they showed a lot of flaws in carl, which they really shouldnt be capable of if he is as good as he,and you, think he is.his heart is beyond question, but "unrivalled" power?i could name any number of boxers with better power than him
