Re: Frank Maloney
Just came back from the hospital..Just to keep you guys updated,
Frank is in Hospital, and will be for a few days, he was transfered to Kings College hospital in Camberwell for tests, but should be back either tonight or tomorrow in Farnborough, He thanks you for the kind messages, I set his laptop up, so he might come on himself later on, but he is fine........
you have to understand the shock and horror that frank had faced yesterday!! and it has effected him deeply, if you wish to send cards, just send them to the office in Chislehurst

I was hoping there'd be this topic before I logged in. Nice one, steve689.
Get well soon Frank. I'm sorry to hear of all the bad news. I wish I could do something to help. Just try to take it easy if you can. All the best.

100% agreed.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:I couldn't imagine what he must be going through right now.
Naturally sympathies go to Darren's family but Frank must be suffering too - I wouldn't wish what he must be going through on anyone.
Re: Frank Maloney
Spirit of the Union Jack Frank.
Get well soon, don't somebody give him a computer let him have a bloody rest and a cup of tea before all that. Although it would probably be of some comfort to him to read the 300+ condolence messages that came in for his late friend in less than 24hours, which tells you a lot about how Darren was thought of as well.

Agreed, a nice piece that. Here's another well-written one from Kevin Mitchell - http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/se ... sutherland
And hope Frank gets better sooner rather than later.

As usual, Mark Doyle has written an excellent piece there: http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/sep ... _blog.html
Ironically, Sutherland had not long started writing a monthly column on the Irish Boxing website.
