I have no problems with Kevin Mitchell (although he should have got DQ'd in his last fight). However, I do think he recieves to much coverage and should be allowed to develop without the pressures of TV.
However, it speaks volumes of the depth of quality of the shows he is on that his fights are almost always televised.

Ta, would have been good to see Mitchell like that, I'd like to see what he's like when he decides to pick his shots.bigped wrote:was ok ,, i was there,, micthell looked a bit cammer than usual i got the impression he was wanting rounds,,, gary young got a knockout again,, wasnt that good a show in all/
Going the distance a few times can only be good for a young prospect, nothing is learnt from quick one round blast outs.Manos de Oro wrote:Ta, would have been good to see Mitchell like that, I'd like to see what he's like when he decides to pick his shots.bigped wrote:was ok ,, i was there,, micthell looked a bit cammer than usual i got the impression he was wanting rounds,,, gary young got a knockout again,, wasnt that good a show in all/

Maybe he's listening to the critisism of himself, everyone was young once, if all your mates are telling you how great you are, you start to beleive it.
now he's had a bit of exposure and people that he respects in the game are telling him to calm it , he might.
hopefully he can learn as he goes on. If not then i won't be a fan of his.
