how the fornicate does this work,he beats up a punch bag on his comeback[ranked 642]and he is straight in the top ten :o thats a joke.

good past performances, fighters who were very good seem to linger around the top of the rankings a bit too long.
but no rankings system is ever gonna get it completely right

thats ridiculous though 7 after one comeback fight at an advanced age and weight.

It does seem to me that Boxrec favours past achievements way too much. There should be a modifier which affects.

1 The effect of moving up in weight. It's ludicrous when you have move up to a new weight and theya re in the top 5 after 1 fight.

2 Past achievements should be worth less with each passing year. By the current criteria, if Ali came back tommorow he'd probably be #1 at heavyweight.

Any world organisation that ranks Bowe in the top ten should be charged with attempted murder.

BoxRec doesn't deserve such nonsensical rankings. Hopkins is still #1 at 154, which, in my opinion, is an embarrasment to this great site.
