Loads of excuses, loads of promises but no bottle. He may win prizefighter with Sprotty out but as for going on to becomming a World champ, no chance. I just cant see him being any different to the way he was before. In fact he may not even win Prizefighter if he only lands a few odd punches a round. Its all about getting stuck in for three rounds and his cautious style and pathetic jab just wont work. You cant really afford to lose a round and if he gets outworked he will lose. He has to take risks and go for it, if he doesnt hes f*cked. He should win it but I somehow think he wont.

It would make for a great story if Audley did actually manage to win a real world title.

yeah a great story, going from silk pyjamas courtesy of his gob and my TV licence fee to a World title....it makes me wish I could reach 17 stone just to be in this competition.

There is no doubt audleys pro career has been disappointing. He is however an olympic gold medallist and has ability. His problem is a mental one, if he can get his head straight then ( I am probably gonna get hung for this!!) I would place a bet on him winning a version of the Hvwt title. Ability does not diminish, if he sorts out his demons he can be a champion.

I agree 100% with this. I can't see the Prizefighter format being good for Audley at all.

Surprised it was as many as two. There was a time when EVERY domestic heavyweight fight promoted by Allegedly was a "world title eliminator".

Of course it does, otherwise Haggler would still be fighting for the middleweight title. Harrison is 38 now, and in the 8 years since Olympic gold he's not built beyond domestic class. He's got a hell of a way to go if he's to beat anyone at world level.
