When the bloody hell was this fight made
Otis Grant V's Robin Reid, seems a strange fight for Reid to take in my opinion, how long as this fight been made, anyone know, also why has Reid agreed to travel to Canada, would have been nice to have seen this on the Hatton undercard, it just really suprised me when i saw this fight was happening

i don't know but it''s a shame that reid is past it. I thought when he was fighting those nothing WBF fights on the bbc he looked sharp and dangerous, against vasquez and mora. But then he fought ottke, didn't look the same fighter (but still won) and then against magee looked even worse.
I'd say reid beats grant at this stage, i've got to disagree i think it's an intriguing matchup.

The fight's been in the works for a bit. Real Deal mentioned it on here about 3 weeks back, but nobody paid much attention.Foggy wrote:Otis Grant V's Robin Reid, seems a strange fight for Reid to take in my opinion, how long as this fight been made, anyone know, also why has Reid agreed to travel to Canada, would have been nice to have seen this on the Hatton undercard, it just really suprised me when i saw this fight was happening
Reid has never been scared of fighting away from home. It's a shame more British fighters don't share that mentality.
Not an easy fight for Rob this. I expect him to win on points, but it's close to a 50/50 match, Grant is a very good fighter.
I think reid takes it, if nothing else it just took grant 10 rounds to get a UD over Mark Woolnough who froch saw off in 8 after the fight had been made at short notice (and I wasn't so impressed with froch's performance).
Out of interest dose anyone think that froch could take grant, the is argument over how he would do vs reid but taking the lay off into consideration I certainly think he would perform well against grant.
