It's not petty. I mean, you don't watch a TV show if you don't like it, do you? I have him on ignore because I never saw a useful contribution from him. There's no point in me wasting my time reading his posts. I always used to just see him arguing with people for no real reason.

here here, the only resembelence with Mike Tyson is the name. They are worlds apart yet his dad and Meaty Mick seem to think they're on a par. The performance against JM shows the only par in class they share was the weight class.

They are the most deluded team in boxing, and this a sport full of delusion !

It may come as a bit of a shock to people here, but I'm going to take a contrarian view here.

I like Tyson Fury.

He comes across to me as an articulate, intelligent lad who uses his sharp mind to call out boxers and criticise them to build publicity, which is fair enough, but unlike some others who have done that, when he's not drumming up noise for some fight or other, or deliberately making himself a target, he offers some excellent -- and invariably sensible -- candid insights into his own psyche and the game as a whole.

There's not much he says that I would disagree with -- when it's not obvious PR -- and I simply think he's confident and honest.

The other thing I like is the fact he keeps busy. It seems that fighters now only fight four times a year if they're big names, and unfortunately, if they're big names right at the start, that means they start fighting once a quarter, which in my view is no good. These guys are much better fighting once a month and seeking out quality sparring, which Fury does.

I like him, and wish him every success.

Fury and intelligence don't mix well.

Guy thinks he would of stopped McDermott had it been a 12 rounder. This guys delusional and is being way too rushed without learning anything because his promoter is delusional and is a wannabe bigshot.

perhaps "his wannabe bigshot delusional promoter" just doesn't have a particularly good heavyweight. in all hennessy is solid, and solid is very important in these corner cutting times in which many top talents are not matched honestly.
