As i've said in the past, he needs more variation then a left hook or right hook for the entire fight to beat even average opposition, and he really has a big glass chin.

Early in his career he was dropped, It was a fox card, Green was the main event and
Roy Jones was in the commentory. I think Green went 8 rounds in his fight which was a suprise, Cant recall his opponent.

I don't know i forget his name, it was a while back.
I tip my hat to Solomon for his effort as he proved me wrong as I expected him to wilt by 8.
Cleaner, harder and twice as many punches did the trick for him over a very tough Kirby, who tested out Solomon's condition and ribs with some good body shots as well as the effort in trying to keep pushing the leaning Michael away.
Solomon appears to have regained some of the potential he showed years ago, but was lost in the wilderness spent under Mundine's sphere of influence.
A couple of regular fights against the better performed local heavywights (Big Bob excluding), should see Solomon regather that bit of momentum to go further in the game.
For Michael, a serious bit of fitness work would help him attract more fights, against local heavies. Michael should not be overmatched as he cannot sustain too many more beatings like the one Solomon handed out.
