WBO do it again

Post by Old bones Ian »

at the WBO convention they have agreed to rank Ricardo Mayorga in the top 3 of the light middles, not only has Mayorga been stopped in his last fight, and only had 1 light middle contest since 2000.

He also said he's retired, now how serious that is i don't know, but surely someone with an once of brains can see he should have to prove himself as a light middle first.

I fu*king hate it when this happens

Get over it, everyone needs to realise that ratings are irrelevent in terms of a measuring stick of who is the best, and are all to do with lobbying power of promoters. It's all done with phone calls, smoke and mirrors, and everyone is at it.

Agreed. Ratings mean nothing in this day and age. Look at eastman. he's been #1 for ages.
